SRM 5.0 PunchOut catalog returns blank screen with IE8 and Windows 7


We are experiiencing problems retrieving Catalog items back in to the SRM system where the web browser is IE8 and the OS Windows 7.0 - A blank screen is returned and the transaction is left hanging.

With earlier releases of IE and Windows we don't have any issues.

Having read some of the notes for later releases of SRM the advice appears to be to add each of these catalogs to the 'Trusted Sites Zones' - Has anyone resolved the problem with changes to the system that does not require us having to add every new web catalog to our Global Trusted Site Zone within our Company?
