I am using SAP Business One 9.2. PL 03, for starters, and the issue I'm having is this.
When I add anything to the 'Remarks' section on the Item Master Data, such as the part numbers and necessary quantities for Pins that act as hardware for the original part, it will pull the inputting text as 'Item Details' on marketing documents. Sure I can delete the text but I'd rather stop it from pulling entirely.
We use the 'Item Details' on our print outs for lead times, service descriptions, or any additional information to the customers that they may require; whereas we would like to use the 'Remarks' for internal use when a CSR looks up the part for example to see what hardware goes with it.
It seems silly, to me, to create a UDF to fit the purpose if I've already got a system created field to enter data in.
Can we stop the 'Item Details' from automatically pulling that 'Remarks' data?
