Save Delivery Post Goods Issue using VL01N

Hi ,

I create a delivery and press 'Post Goods Issue' pushbutton in Tcode 'VL01N'.

Now, If a condition 'X' is not satisfied, I want the Delivery to be saved, but the PGI should not happen.

Does such a scenario exist in SAP?

If Yes, how can it be done technically?

We have already tried BADI's and user-exit save_document_prepare but nothing is working.
