Dear Gurus,
My client requirement one plant and 4 storage locations under one warehouse no, material are unique in each location
what implications i will face , when i implement one plant 4 sloc undier 1 warehouse no.
regards,
Suresh.
Hi Suresh,
You can connect Multiple Storage Locations to one warehouse as part of Standard Configuration itself. As Materials are unique for each location, it is even simple. However based on your business requirement, it is preferred to use the Storage Location Reference, if you would like to use different storage types for each storage location. By this in a given storage type you will have stocks from single storage location. This slightly complicates the interface with WM
Also when creating Transfer Orders, users must enter the storage location also.
Regards,
Rama
