Disable the availability check for delivery in APO

Hello All,

I have configured my scenario between SCM & ECC to do availability check in APO only for quota but the delivery is being checked too mainly when is being done the batch split (VL02N). Could you please advise me how can I disable the availability in APO only for delivery and just do it in ECC?

Many thanks.

Carlos.

Hi Carlos,

I guess when you say quota, you mean product allocations GATP check in APO for the Sales Orders.

Unfortunately, you don't have a SAP standard option to differentiate between Sales Orders and deliveries in order to separate the check (meaning you check SOs in APO, but deliveries in R/3).

As Ashok mentioned, you could disable the ATP check (GATP) for deliveries in APO. For this, also follow the same procedure for BE (MTO Sales Orders, if you are using them) as what Ashok mentioned for B.

In this case, GATP check for SOs will happen in APO, while deliveries WILL NOT HAVE any ATP check (neither ATP check in R/3 nor GATP check in APO).

Other option would be to not have GATP check for Sales Orders/deliveries at all. For this, you could either take out Sales Orders or deliveries from the integration model (assuming they are not relevant in APO) or remove the 'ATP check' from integration model (meaning only ATP check in R/3 would happen). But I think this is not what you must be wanting.

The normal standard way is that you would have GATP check for both SOs/deliveries in APO. Have more strict check (GATP) for deliveries when compared to Sales Orders. e.g. in Sales orders check, you could also consider Production Orders or Purchase Requisitions, but in Deliveries check, you only consider available stock. This you can easily achieve via "scope of check".

Hope this helps.

Hi Carlos

If I understand your requirement correctly, you want to have ATP Check for Sales Order in APO but Deliveries in ECC. I do not think this is supported by standard SAP - you need to work on the user exits for this.

If you do not want any ATP Check for delivery, then previous posts from experts have already covered that.

Thanks,

Hi,

In the check instructions in APO (IMG>APO>GATP--> Maintain check instructions), please disable ATP check for the Business event B and the check mode in the delivery (requirements class in R/3). To disable ATP in check instructions you have to choose "No check" for Product avialability check, Product allocation and forecast fields.

Ashok

Hello Ashok,

This was my first step, but didn´t work properly. I'm guessing that only an exit to avoid it.

My best regards.
