QM Inspection Lot for Rework Operation From Trigger Point

Dear PP Gurus,

In routing, operation 50 is maintained with control key PP06 where Inspection Characteristic Required and rework quantity.

After creation of Production Order, Release first operation the Inspection Lot for Operation 50 is created. Then i do confirmation for operation 50 where yield qty is 40, rework qty is 10. Then Rework Operation 51 with qty 10 is created with trigger point.

My question is for this rework operation, i already maintain ref operation set with control key PP06. Right after confirmation operation 50, this operation 51 is already REL. My problem is no inspection lot for this operation 51. Is this standard behavior because it is rework operation?

hi,

this is the std. behaviour of Std SAP, once u released and confirm ur PP order than relvant to it inpsection lot is there, and for rework Qty. u need to post the another PP order manually, if u want lot for rework inspection.

Do you mean with new creation production order manually with CO01 ? Because i try with trigger point it will create rework order but production order without material and it won't create new inspection lot.

Is there any best practice or solution how top create inspection lot for rework operation without creating new production order manually?
