Trouble with 0PM_OM_OPA_2 delta

Hi folks,

We are trying to get 0PM_OM_OPA_2 to extract costs for Orders (Service orders) but can't get the delta to work. The initialization worked fine for the first time but no changes would show up in the RSA7 delta queue. There are no delta records in the queue now even though we created a new service order. Are there any special settings that need to configured to set this extractor up? Also, on a different thread where someone had similar experience in the past suggested initializing the orders related LO extractors so we have performed that setup as well .. the result is still the same. I should also mention that the expected records show up when using extractor checker (RSA3) on the ECC side for the specific work orders with 'Full' mode.

Look forward to your responses.

Thanks!

Check Note 661165 - Extracting order planned costs. Create a maintenance order and check delta. Not sure if this datasource delivers service orders.

0PM_OM_OPA_1 for maintenance orders and

0CS_OM_OPA_1 for customer service orders

Thanks Murali but we are looking to get the Actuals at detail level so 0PM_OM_OPA_2 is our only option as far as I understand. The init works for the 'Service Orders' so should work for delta as well.

Did you run the delta infopak from BW to see if the service order is extracted? Only few datasources work on the PUSH mode of delta, where new records/changes get written directly to the delta queue without any action from BW. We have special ledger datasource in our project which functions in this mode. For most of the other datasources it is the PULL mode that works, meaning, when we trigger the delta infopak in BW, delta gets determined in source and gets written to the queue and then brought to BW. Please check by running the delta infopak.

Good comment. I can't recall running the delta ip after the reinit so that's the first thing I will try t'row. Thanks.

Having said that, I had created new work orders after I found the delta not to be showing in the RSA7 delta queue. And I would have expected for those work orders to show up in the reinit that was performed later. They did not get extracted either. I thought this was happening since the init was extracting data from the same setup table which did not get reconstructed supposed at the time of reinit. Any comments regarding this behaviour?

Cheers!
