Hello all,
There is the following problem:
I am using Crystal Reports for Enterprise v16.2 in which I want to load a report that has 2 shared connections (one shared connection has an SQL command).
Load the report => empty. But if I press on "Browse field" data exists. Also in database the data is available. Usually data exists in "browse field" before I load the report. After I load it, it dissapears from "browse filed" also.
If I rebuild the report from scratch, and load it, it is NOT empty anymore when loading.
Unfortunately this is not a solution since the reports are quite complicated and it would take a huge amount of time.
Can somebody tell me why this would happen and where does the data dissapear?
Thanks!
There is no such version as Crystal Reports for Enterprise v16.2, yet
We have Crystal Reports 2016 and Crystal Reports for Enterprise 4.2.
I guess you mean Crystal Reports for Enterprise 4.2, but there is no "Browse field" - only "Browse Data"
In any case I think the problem is with Records Selection formula. In Crystal Reports for Enterprise go to "Data" (in top menu) and select "Record Filter". You can delete all filters for testing or delete one by one to find what is causing the empty data.
