Upload SD area from SAP R3 into SAP BW

Dear all,

We upload SD area from SAP R3 into SAP BW. Is there anyone who could propose me good documentation on this subject to know which SAP R3 table are impacted ? what are the issue if SAP R3 users are connected to the system during the upload ? ....

I start my search on the documentation if anybody could propose me some good one to start it will be helpfull.
