Status not tranfer to dependent objects

Hi Guys

There is seems to be issue with SAP std, Actually I have deactivated the functional location status (INAC). Therefore the same effect should come into its dependent equipment (installed) as deactivated (INAC). Even the SAP pop up information (Message no : IL420) is also reflecting the same, however it is not succeeded in real system.

Can you tell me what is the reason ? How to solve this issue?

Regards

Thenna

Hi,

You will not get this message if all subordinate equipements are inactive. You can do one thing, check with your ABAPer whether you can convert warning message to the error. With this either you have to dismentle equipments from functional location or inactivate equipments first before inactivating functional location.

Hello

INACT Status of FL will not flow to Equipment as you expected .

As system showing info message that

If you wish to deactivate the functional location, the installed pieces of equipment should also be deactivated or flagged for deletion.

Means it is informing you that you need to carry out the Deactivation of equipment too independently before set status to INACT TO FL
