1KEK execution

Hi :

When we execute 1KEK for transferring AP/AR items to profit centers...Where does the system picks the profit center item so that line item balances of AP/AR is done? Moreover when this transfer happens, which line items in AP/AR are transferred to PC, is it the net balance of all line items of a customer or something else. Please guide me.
