How To get lst PO NETPE of MATNR in current PR???

in my script i want to display I want to select the last PO price of the material , on the PR (materail ) wise,

if i Select NETPR from EKPO table according to material no and desending the PODAtT then i know the last PO Price of a material , but in Production it gives performance issue. Pls give any other way to select last PO NETPR ????
