Returnable Packaging

Hi Friend,

My company handle returnable packaging material in excel (not in SAP). Please suggest the best solution to implement this so that packaing material can be tracked through the sap system. Shall HU is a suggest way to go for it or Bill of Material (which include packaging materials) is the way to go for it?

Try this for a basic solution of vendor RTP

Create material with material type LIEH (RTP) - non valuated material

Create PO for the main material

While receiving GR for main material, add a second line of LIEH material with movement type 501 M.

Track the TRP materials in MMBE.

Return the TRP material through 502 M in MIGO_GR

You can map it through Handling Unit(HU) by implementing Handling Unit Management(HUM).
