Cannot get rid of preceding task relationship

Hi all

I have deleted a set of data collection tasks out of BCS but the preceding task relationship still exists (although the description has been removed).

The result is that the monitor now produces the error u201CTask xxxxx cannot be readu201D.

I really need to get rid of these preceding relationships
