Overtime

Hi All,

What would be the best approach to address this issue?

1. Overtime maximum is 24 hours from beginning of planned shift. In case of continuous duty, for eg:

Shift : 08:00 - 16:00

Time Events:

01.01.2012 P10 08:00

02.01.2012 P20 14:00

Requirement:

Overtime to be calculated from 08:00 on 01.01.2012 to 07:59 on 02.01.2012

08:00 AM from next day to be counted as regular shift and not overtime.

We are using TM04 variants. Any other option than creating new TEVEN entries via ABAP?

08:00 - 16:00 is normal working time, beyond this if an employee works then it will be overtime.Beyond 16:00 on 01.01.2012 will be considered overtime till 7:59.

Do you mean to say overtime hrs should not be more than 24hrs?

Exactly. Not more than 24 hours from the beginning of the planned shift.

Its SAP standard system will take only 24 hours per day. in That how many hours you planned for Working time based on Overtime will be calculated...

Its taking more than 24 hours. Does TGMAX or DELIM to be maintained here?

I do hope that you have to write a Custom PCR for this.Query the start time of the DWS and compare the value with Start time+24 hours. If the hours are equal or less than the limit move to a time type.If the hours are more than the value move to a different time type.

Best Regards
