Unable to publish Draft Workspace.

Hi

This request is about Enterpirse Workspaces.

I have an issue publishing the draft workspaces. I have logged in as administrator and able to create workspaces but I am not seeing the option to publish the workspaces created. I have referred the online documentation http://help.sap.com/saphelp_enterpriseworkspaces11/helpdata/en/50/7b5d134ee945eca2780f5eb88866cb/content.htm

The documentation says that I will see a "publish" button on the workspace screen to publish the drafts. But I could not find that button in the workspaces. My question, is there any configuration or settings that will hide the publish button from the screen?

Please help me resolving this issue

Thanks

Sajith

      Run,

Thanks for the information and the link to the right documentation. The documentation was little intuitive for beginners, but finally I managed to add the "tabstrip" to the page framework and now I am able to publish the pages.

      Thanks for your help.

      Hi Gonzalo,

For your benefit, I am adding the below steps for enabling it. Try and let me know if it works for you.

      a) Login to the Workspace Administration page

      b) After successful login, Click on u201CContent Administrationu201D menu from the header section.

      c) From the left menu, from u201CPortal Content sectionu201D drill down u201CPortal Content --> Content Provided by SAP --> Admin Interfaces --> Admin Page Templates".

      d) Under this, You will see a page named u201CDefault Page Templateu201D. Right click on this item and this will open up a context menu. Select u201Copen --> pageu201D option from the menu

      e) The above step will open up the page in right side panel.

      f) from left menu, Drill down u201CPortal Content --> Content Provided by SAP --> Admin Interfaces -->Admin iView Templatesu201D

      g) This will list out all the available iView templates. Scroll down and locate u201CTabstrip for Ajax Framework Pageu201D [if your page is not based Based on Ajax Framework. Then choose u201CTabstripu201D].

      h) Right Click on the object and from the context menu select u201CAdd to My Objectsu201D

      i) The above command will add the tabstrip to the template page.

      j) now click on the "save" button which can be found in the right hand side panel above the page properties.

      k) logout and login again and go to workspaces and you will see the publish button there.
