Reading SRM- MDM Catalog from R/3

We need to validate which Product Hierarchy a user used when adding an item to a cart from the SRM Catalog.

We are using Function Module BBP_PD_SC_GETDETAIL to get the key content of the selected cart(s) but this does not give us the required information.

Is there a way of 'reading' the MDM Catalog, particularly the Product Hierarchy from R/3?

Many thanks for your response. I am looking at viewing the MDM Catalog, specifically the Product Hierarchy, from R/3 via a Function Module/ Class Method.

Hi,

Just a pointer to help you ->ERP system gets data from MDM catalog using the OCI open catalog interface, hence you may have to think towards that.

Are you looking for data from a function module or you just want to see the data in the MDM catalog??

You can configure MDM catalog in ERP at this path

Materials Management->Purchasing->Environment Data->Web Services: ID and Description
