Question on some Mail Templates/Mail Configuration

Hello,

We are on Sourcing 7, SP02.

There are some mail templates/mail configurations that we are not sure for what reason or where in the process these are trigerred. It will be helpful if someone can let us know.

Alert w/URL - system.alert_with_url

Workflow Delegation - workflow.delegation

Custom Development Error - custom.failure.error

I was not sure where exactly these mails get trigerred or whats the use of them.
