ESS Error in Updating Address records

An issue when trying to change Address records via Employee Self Service.

If using the "edit" button, it is possible to enter a new address, but when the review button is clicked, an error is displayed stating "Start date must be 05.01.2012 or later.

"If using the New Address buttons, a critical error displays:Type conversion error field Begda This is seen after EHP5 upgrade

Please help if ay OSS notes are available

Thanks Friends, Portal reset after the upgrade eliminated this error

Check with SAP Notes...

Hi Geeta,

Try to change the start date of address to 05.01.2012 or later, this is because the employee might be active from this date.Please check the hire date in action infotype. Specify the date in address as per this date. Hope it will solve your problem.
