file adapter, file pulled yet no message

I have setup a comm. channel and corresponding sender agreement in the integration directory for a file adapter.

the adapter activates, pulls the file and deletes the file per the settings on the comm. channel. The following message is recieved in the adapter framework.

"Up and running: Last message processing started 15:03:55 2005-04-26 last poll interval started 15:03:55 2005-04-26"

However, no message shows up in the integration server!

I believe the issue is between the AE and integration server since the file was pulled and deleted. Any ideas on what would cause this?
