Pls help to understand that is there a master - derived role concept in SAP HR like other modules or do we have only Direct role concept?
for Ex: two Pas PA1 and PA2
Approach 1- Shall I create one Master Role M_HR_ADMIN and give all the T-Codes access to it. Then I will derive 2 roles out of it D_HR_ADMIN_PA1 (PA=PA1 ;other values as *) and D_HR_ADMIN_PA2 (PA=PA2 ; other values as *) . This is the approach normally followed in logistic modules like MM, PM etc.
Approach 2- I create directly two roles D_HR_ADMIN_PA1 (PA=PA1 ;other values as *) and D_HR_ADMIN_PA2 (PA=PA2 ; other values as *) without deriving them from Master Role.
Please suggest as I was informed by sources that there is no Master-Derived role concept in SAP HCM
