Not getting original value in QE11 for Qualitative MIC

Hi QM Experts,

I have two query first one is, regarding coping of MIC from one plant another plant. I am using Tcode qs21 to copy the MIC. MICs are copied to another plant by using template which is appearing on first screen of QS21. But i am facing prbolem that MICs are copied but not with their Codes but with their numbers.Is there any setting in cong.? what is the problem that i am not getting MIC codes which was created in one plant not seen in other plant with their codes ( 8 Character)

Second query, I have qualitative MIC when i record the value for that qualitative MIC value in QE11. I am getting recored value in result field after valuating the recorded values, I am not getting the original value in that resepective filed. Please tell me where i am wrong. Also what is table name for recorded values for Qualitative MICs?

Hii,

1. As per My understanding, What you are doing is you are Entering Plant code, Keeping Master Insp. Carac. field BLANK, and in Template you are entering details of MIC which you want to copy.

What system does is, As you are keeping Master Insp. Charac. field BLANK, system assigns internal Number for Newly created MIC.

If you want the same code from which you are copying an MIC, you will have to enter Same MIC code in Master Insp. Charac. field.

Now, for your 2nd Question,

I will suggest you to check selected set, Code groups you are using.

Thanks for your quick response and gudience.

My first query solved.

For my second query I have tried eveything as per suggestion given in thread but problem remains same.

Code, code group and selected sets are OK. MIC with summerized result, Attribute check is in place. Still i am not gettiing that origninal value in that field.

I am surprised, I am getting that original value in IDES with same setting but not for in development. Please suggest missing link for qualitative MIC for original value in QE11.

Dear Sunil,

The same Question has been posted 3 times on this Forum, Sadly for all 3 times Thread was "Unanswered".

In your case, Its working fine in IDES, and its not working in Dev Server.

That means, There has to be some missing link.

Start from beginning,

1.MIC

a) Qualitative

b) Contol indicators : Characteristic attribute , Sampling procedure, Summarized recording, Required, Fixed Scope

c) Maintain Codegroup.

2.Sampling Procedure

1) Sampling Type: Fixed

2) Valuation Mode 100 - Attributive inspection nonconf. Unit/Manual Valuation

3) Free inspection point selected

4) Sample Size

Inspection Plan

1) inspection point

2) MIC attached with the inspection plan

Create an Inspection Lot.

I hope, Problem will not be there.

Otherwise, please explain all details step by step. (Description error, value entered etc etc)
