BI is backend of BO server.

I have to upgrade BI 7.0 to BI 7.3. product version of BI system is NW ABAP 7.0. The concern for me is a BO server is connected to BI system, both are installed on same server as well(BI is backend of BOBJ). Please let me help to know how BO system would be affected if i upgrade BI system.

Hi,

If you are performing upgrade of BI to 7.3 then it should not effect your BO settings.I believe BI 7.3 provides better interconnection with BO.

Additionally go through upgrade guide and check central upgrade notes:

Hi Abhi,

If you are using same database for BI and BO - Though BI and BO using same database, Your reports are should be stored in I/O FRS directories. Audit Database and Repository BO database shoudn't affect from BI upgrade.

So upgrading BI from 7.0 to 7.3 shoudn't affect BO technically.
