Current set up
J2EE PL22 EP6.0 SP2 Patch4
When I try to start the server using the services I get the error below, but if I use the go.bat it starts up fine. Is there a setting I can change so it does not look for the jar files in the last two error lines?
I read "Patch 4 problem, portal won't start anymore", which indicated the work around was a re-install. I hoping there is an easier and more direct solution.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you.
Doug

Hi Robert:
Thanks for the pointer to the other thread. As it turns out, I missed the SAP Basic Java upgrade that was required with the Patch 4 install. After I performed the upgrade, I was able to start the portal using the SAP J2EE Engine services.
