I have a problem related to analysis authorisations on nav attributes.
What I know:
We have a number of characteristics B, C, D etc. which are referenced to the "main" characteristic A which has over 150 attributes. Out of these, 50 attributes are auths relevant.
If I add these 50 attributes to analysis authorisation and restrict access to ":", then they will be hidden as display attributes of characteristic A, B, C, D etc.
If I want to hide them as navigational attributes as well, I need to tick "auths relevant" next to them in the characteristic A maintenance window and add them to analysis authorisation as 50 seperate entries A_*.
This works fine, so far. However...
When I tick attributes as auths relevant in characteristic A this doesn't automatically set them as auths relevant for characteristics B, C, D etc. And from my point of view, if I am hiding them on char. A I want to hide them on any other characteristic as well. Also, in order to make them auths relevant I need to tick them for every characteristic which references char. A, and add them as B_, C_, D_* (50 entries each) into the analysis authorisation!!! All this, despite SAP recommending 18 objects in one AA.
This is surely not right! What am I doing wrong and why isn't it working?
Please help.
