How to Work With Data Transfer Workbench.

Hii All,

I am facing a problem when i am copying the Item Master's from my Test Data base to Production Data base as all the service items are not copied only item groups are copying.

Please any one tell how to use Data Transfer Work bench as i don't know how to use it

Hello,

You should check same group code is available which are providing in copy.

which addon you are using ?

Copy express or Other

if yes make transfer step by step one database to another database.

After select option(Add New and Update existing)

Because second line you talking about Data teansfer workbench ,in this software we import data form CSV,txt and ODBC as datasource.

Hii Rahul,

Please tell me how to import the data to excel from my Test company and import it to the production company .I cannot catch up the video where he is importing the data..

Hi Cherry,

Follow this steps.

1. Open Item Master Data in find mode then put * on Item code field and press enter.

2. All Item Master Data are appear here.

3. Click on form settings here select field which you have Import.

4. Click Ok on form settings window after select field. Then click on cancel of Item Master Data list

5. Again follow first step. Then All Item Master Data are appear here.

6. Click on Excel Icon from Tool Bar. Now Item Master Export from Test Company.

7. Put DTW Field in Excel Sheet from OITM Template

8. Run DTW in Production system. Now its Import in Production system.

Chapter ID are not Import its by design
