EBS wrong posting date after bank statement upload

Hi gurus,

We have experienced an issue where we tried to upload a bank statement file with FF_5 which had a line with posting date 30.12.2011.

The file was received and uploaded on 05.01.12 but the resulting posting date in the created document was 03.01.12.

Posting spool log itself reports that the created document posted on 30.12.2011 but this is clearly incorrect.

Any ideas as to why the posting date was shifted to the next business day instead of 30.12.2011?

Hi,

Check your posting period whether opened or closed,and check your file format of statement date and posting date format.

Thanks for your response. I can confirm the statement file date format is correct, the posting period however is set to 01/2012 - our finance guy told us he thought it hadn't been changed but OB52 reveals its currently set to period 1. We have no change log to confirm when this was changed.

Will report back with any further developments.

OK so we ran the same statement file in our test system with period 12 opened and the same error has occured...

This was eventually resolved by use of userexit EXIT_RFEBBU10_001 as suggested in sap note 28604.

The field suggested in 28604 does not appear to be applicable though, in our implementation we used E_FEBEP-BUDAT = E_FEBEP-VALUT where VALUT is the value date.
