Dear all,
We have installed a 2 systems, an ADS and SLD, both on a SAP NetWeaver 7.02 platform.
Now, we have to install both of them on QAS and PRD environement.
Question :
Using QuickSizer tools on http://service.sap.com/quicksizer, I can see that there is no specific option to analyze
ADS and SLD hardware requirement.
Any suggestion is welcome
Best regards

Hello Pascal,
I am with Sunny. You don't need to to separate sizing for SLD and ADS systems.
Thanks,

You are right. Then why you want to do sizing for ADS and SLD. Could you please explain the reason for doing sizing of ADS and SLD ? I would do sizing of portal system based on usage scenario like BI, ESS/MSS etc. not for ADS and SLD.
Thanks
Sunny
Dear Sunny,
ADS is a specific system (AS-JAVA).
SLD is a specific system (AS-JAVA).
I need to do a size of both SAP system before installing them in productive environment.
I just wonder if there is a an option in http://service.sap.com/quicksizer to size both SAP AS-JAVA product.
Best regards

Hi,
SLD remains by default on portal server and same is the case for ADS. So, you need not to do special sizing for these components.
Thanks
Sunny
