Hi,
While creating planned order in MD11 when I enter 100 quantities it is automatically recalculated to 110 and scrap quantity to 10. As 10% assembly scrap is maintained in Material Master.
So is there some configuration setiing such that the system will not calculate the scrap quantity i.e. it will bypass the assembly scrap % maintained in Material Master.
Please help...
Dear Megamin,
Why do you define an assembly scrap and then to ignore the same?
If you want the assembly scrap to be ignored for determining the BOM component quantity then you can set the net scrap
indicator for each BOM component in the basic data tab page in CS01/CS02.
In MD11,after entering the order quantity and date ,now the system will propose the scrap quantity, try by removing this 10
quantity from scrap field and also change the order quantity as 100 and press enter and check whether are you able to create
the planned order for 100 quantity and the BOM components are proposed only for this 100 order quantity.

Dear Megamin,
In my understanding there is no configuration to skip this during manual creation of planned order.
This is mainly used for the order proposal for the product and also to plan the BOM components in extra as per the scrap %
defined for the assembly.
What you can do is as I have suggested is only during manual creation of planned orders once after entering the planned order
quantity, remove the quantity proposed in the scrap field and also adjust the planned order quantity and check the BOM
components whether the system is calculating as per to the order quantity(without extra planning for the scrap %).
Check and revert back.
