Change the Standard task TS10407929 workitem text

Hi Experts.

Please suggest me how to change the standard task TS10407929 work item text.

Shopping cart number &REQREQ.REQUIREMENTREQUEST& was &BY&

&APPROVALSTATETEXT& by &AGENT&.

In this text I am getting the mail like this

Shopping cart number XXXXXX was *+_FROM*+_ REJECTED BY

&APPROVALSTATETEXT& by &AGENT&.

I want to remove the FROM word in that .

Please reply me as soon as possible

Hi Purohit,

Go to the task description , click on change, it will display the wordpad, in that the task description will be displayed.

Based on your requirement , edit the text.

I removed &BY& in that .

May I know what is your requirement.

Hi Murli,

We have the same requirement. But instead of making the cchange in the standard task we have copied this task and made changes to that task. After this we replaced the standard task in the workflow with this task.

But the issue we are facing is that when we change Shopping Cart the workflow that is not getting triggered in our development environment.

But we are able to check it in our quality environment.

Also to test this we need to send the notification e-mail to the workflow initiator (user) but the recepient field in the task comtainer is blank in non-production systems.

Since it is a background step, we don't see the notification mail sent to the initiator under SOST.

Any tips as to how we can send out this mail for testing?

Hi Murali,

We have corrected this message. Now we want to test it in our system. So far we have been checking the changes in SWI1 under the workitem that sends out this mail.

But we want to trigger the mail to the workflow initiator now.

Can you tell me how the system picks up the name of the user and send out the mail? Under the task that triggers the mail there is a field Recepient name. But in non production systems this field is blank. So I can not trigger this e-mail.

Do you know how the system picks up this name?
