Hi Experts,
How to comparison between standard v/s Actual machine hours utilization for a particular resource or for all the resources utilized in a given period and its variance. Could you tell me how to do this in reporting side.

I hope that your InfoProvider contains information like relevant date, Resource id, Actual hrs and Std hrs
Create a report with resource as row and Actual & Std hrs as columns. The report filter is based on the date in your infoprovider and will be a selection screen variable (Interval or selection option)
Next create a Calculated Key Figure or Local Formula as (Actual - Std) * 100 / Std
Lastly create an exception for Greater than 10 and another for less than -10

Hi,
thank you so much for replay and my info cube contain 0conf_act1, 0conf_act2, standard value1(vgw01) and standard value2 (vgw02),these key figures.
and my characteristics are plant, order number, sales document... etc. so based on these info objects could you tell me how to achieve my report
Thanks & Regards,
rajesh.
Hi Rajesh,
That can happen if Actual is more than standard. This is why we are creating 2 exceptions, to get positive as well as negative variance.
If you do not want to show negative sign, you can use the function "ABS" for absolute value and create only one exception, for greater than 10.

Nikhil
