Runtime error accessing table EKKN in se16

Dear Experts,

Our system is ERP 6.0 EHP5 on AIX 6.1 and DB2 9.7

When i access the tx SE16 to access table EKKN, i am getting dump as soon as I execute

Category ABAP Programming Error

Runtime Errors GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED

ABAP Program SAPLKKBL

Application Component BC-SRV-ALV

Short text

Field symbol has not yet been assigned.

This is happening only to one user. All other users in system can access table EKKN in SE16 except this user. What could be the issue? Please help.

The same table EKKN can be accessed using SE16n but not SE16. Only 1 user has this issue.

Hi,

There can be multiple reason for this. Please check if SAP GUI version for this user is same like other one and also check if some user parameter need to be assigned to this specific user.

If issue still persists, then I will suggest to delete that user and create the same again with the same role.

In addition to Sunny's suggestions, I would ask you to compare that user's roles with others who are able to access without any issues.

Hi,

Please request the user to login from other's front-end system using his own login credentials and then try access the table EKKN. That will give initial idea of whether the issue is related with his SAPGUI & patch level. If he still faces the issue with accessing the table EKKN then it should be related with authorization. Please compare the role & authorization assigned to both users and take corrective action.
