Hi,

I have developed a web application in VS 2010, there are some reports to be developed for the application now my issue is to create a .rpt file i have added a new item from the solution file but the .rpt file doesn't get opened instead it shows the following:

Choose and download an installation package:

Standard EXE installation package which installs the software into the Visual Studio IDE.

SAP Crystal Reports, version for Visual Studio 2010 - Click Once

Click once installation package used to create self-updating Windows-based applications which can be installed and run with minimal user interaction.

SAP Crystal Reports, version for Visual Studio 2010 - Click Once (32 Bit)

SAP Crystal Reports, version for Visual Studio 2010 - Click Once (64 Bit)

SAP Crystal Reports, version for Visual Studio 2010 - Merge Modules

Merge modules installation package used to install components which are shared by multiple applications.

SAP Crystal Reports runtime engine for .NET Framework 4 (32-bit)

But i have installed the below installation package and when ever i open my visual studio again the above content which is in italics is being displayed

SAP Crystal Reports, version for Visual Studio 2010 - Standard

Standard EXE installation package which installs the software into the Visual Studio IDE.

Kindly help me out to solve this issue.

moved to .NET SDK forum.

Search here first, lots of install help for you.

CR does not work in VS Express since it doesn't support plug-ins.

Go to this page and download the and instal the "Complete Package (EXE)":

http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/boc/crystalreports-dotnet

Once it's installed then it should work for you.
