I have "SQL file for recovery (recoverInstance.sql)" was deleted.

As a result, the problem was solved.

When I start the HANA, SQL file for recovery (recoverInstance.sql) will be referred to.

Considered to be able to start because it does not work properly SQL.

However, when the recovery "point in tme" If selected, an error cause is unknown.

Hi,

Can you also try restarting by logging with <SID>adm user and giving following command(in csh shell):

> HDB start

There is no such a thing as HANA IDES currently. People on this thread are discussing Developer Sandbox - please have a look at www.experiencesaphana.com.

This question is not related to the HANA developer center sandboxes - no user can stop/start these systems...

If the issue happened after a failed restore, your database is probably corrupted and cannot be started. Try to restore another backup. You can also try to restore the same backup again, and choose to not replay the log (recover from data files only). You will probably loose some changes, but at least have a consistent state...

Hi,

Try this another way

Step 1. cd /usr/sap/HAN/exe/linuxx86_64/<your hanaveriosn eg HDB_>/

Step 2. ./sapcontrol -nr <yourinstance number eg 79> -function Start
