Used component not found Issue

Dear Experts,

Actually we have a WDJ application which is developed in NWDS 7.01. The problem is we imported the same application in NWDS 7.2 SP 04. While importing it asked for a migration & created the activity. So we thought it will work & activate the activity.

But activity failed due to broken DC. Hence we imported the same application in NWDS 7.01 but we are getting build error as

Used component not found sap.com/tc/aii/base/offline/facade.

Please help me on this. This is very very urgent.

Hi,

It seems like there are some required dependencies which are missing from your DC.

You can try adding the dependencies in the following way:

Go to DC perspective -->

Select your component -->

Select your DC -->

Then on top right side, select the Dependencies -->

Add -->

Browse for the dependencies you want to add (name: 'tc/aii/base/offline/facade' and vendor: 'sap.com') -->

Select OK --> Right click on your DC -->

Sync / Create Project -->

Sync USED DCs --> Select All -->

Ok

Hi,

Am using 7.2 sp 04 in which the mentioned dc is deprecated. But the problem is solved by reimporting again in nwds 7.01.

I have the same problem but I not found the tc/aii/base/offline/facade in my SC can you help me? Where and how can I configurate and download this dependencie for add to my SC,

tc/aii/base/offline/facade is under FRAMEWORK SC. You need to add this as a dependecy to the DC which you are working. Check the reply above to know how to add it.

Hi,

yes, 70X uses the SCs (for webdynpro related development):

- sap_buildt

- sap-jee

- sap_jtechs

while as of 71X it uses:

- sap_buildt

- framework

- engfacade

- wdruntime
