All.
I am trying to figure out the following setting for a Access level/Group/User combination.
This User will need the ability to log into LCM for the purpose of
1) saving report objects into the local SVN repository via the Version Management selection in the top right hand corner of LCM
2) creating a promotion package
3) executing this promotion package to move components into another environment
I have created an access level however I cannot seem to gain access to the Version Mangement selection if my User ID settings does not mimic an Administrator account. If I set the ID up as an Administrator then I am unable to prevent logging into CMC with the rights to update the Access Levels et all. This access level should only allow me to build promotion packages and promote the objects. If the ID needs access to CMC in order to retrieve the report and other objects, what settings need to be "turned off" to not allow updates to the various administrative and security tasks(changes to access levels, user_id creation and assigning/changing group memberships) and only allow access to the folder and object structure for promotion packages.
Thanks
Greg
