Assets - release after the Year End

Hi all.

We execute AJRW and AJAB transactions and we need to do a launch to assets in December 2011. What can we do? We'll have to back the year in OAAQ or are there any other action or verification to be made? Is there any impact on depreciation if this has already been performed?

Thanks in advance,

GLippmann

There si no need of going back. Do asset launching as if nomral and run AFAB for depreciation if you need it.

However you have to open FI periods if it closed. After launching your asset do it again AJRW and AJAB

Thanks.

So, I dont need to run OAAQ and AJRW to reopen system for asset launching, ok?

I understood if that for AFAB no problem. But if I need to launch assets moviments and run ASKBN? Is there any problem?

Thanks one more time.

Yes you don't need to run OAAQ and AJRW again. If you receives any error message about year end closing then go to OAAQ and enter previous year.
However after relaunching asset , you have to run AJAB abd AJRW again.

There is no if you run ASKBN any number of times in any period
