Hardware key is not displayed in SAP B1 8.81

Hi,

We installed SAP B1 8.81(Evaluation version). Hardware key is exists in Service manager -> Licence Manger.

But it is not displaying in Client System 's Help -> About SAP Business one.

Please let me know how to retrieve hardware key.

Apologies as I am confused a bit. If this is an "evaluation" version of SAP Business One, you do not need a license key, even in the non-eval version B1 8.8x will allow you to use it for 30 days before requiring a license key.

That said, the Hardware Key that you need for requesting SAP License Keys, can be found in the Service Manager > License Manager > Settings ... click Connect if the Hardware Key is not displayed already.

Thanks for reply.

For security purpose we are using Hardware Key of Client's Help --> About SAP business one form --> Hardware key.

Hardware is null in this form in SAP B1 8.81.

Kindly help us to resolve the issue

I am not sure why you have this issue with the Help > About. You should open a message with SAP Support on that.

With respect to getting the hardware key ... again ... you can get this through the Service Manager > License Manager.
