Have defined the technical & business systems in the SLD. Now in the IR, using the 'Tool' option on the menu, trying to "Import Software Component Version".
Once that option is selected, faced with the error "Access to object list of type "ExtSwc" using the InternalEOAService SwcAccessor failed."
What is the reason for this error and how would i resolve this error? any suggestions would help.
Hi,
I could not correlate, "Defining Technical& business system in SLD and "Importing software component versions" in IR.
If i am not wrong, after you define your Business systems in SLD, u import them into your Configuration time(Integration directory). Then go to Business Systems-->Assign business systems.
For "Importing software component versions" you need to create your own product and software component in SLD. Go to SLD>Software components> create product & software component. Then try importing the same into your IR.
Hope this solves your problem,

Siva Maranani.

Hi,
it seems like the connection from the IR to the SLD does not work. Can you check the connection parameters in the
Exchange Profile? You can also check the logs on
http://<your IB ip>:<port>/rep/support/public -> View Memory Log.
Regards,
Hermann

Ventaka,
We narrowed down our problem because of insufficient user rights. One of the user we were using to log on to IR did not have proper access rights (roles). Once we fixed that - we were able to import the software components. So I would suggest using a user which has administrator rights. Let me know if you need more info on this.
Thanks for the response. Below are the roles I have for XISUPER user which we are using.
SAP_BC_AI_LANDSCAPE_DB_RFC
SAP_SLD_ADMINISTRATOR
SAP_TST_XI_ADMINISTRATOR
SAP_TST_XI_CONFIGURATOR
SAP_TST_XI_CONTENT_ORGANIZER
SAP_TST_XI_DEVELOPER
SAP_TST_XI_MONITOR
SAP_XI_ADMINISTRATOR_ABAP
SAP_XI_ADMINISTRATOR_J2EE
SAP_XI_CONFIGURATOR_ABAP
SAP_XI_CONFIGURATOR_J2EE
SAP_XI_CONTENT_ORGANIZER_ABAP
SAP_XI_CONTENT_ORGANIZER_J2EE
SAP_XI_DEVELOPER_ABAP
SAP_XI_DEVELOPER_J2EE
SAP_XI_MONITOR_ABAP
SAP_XI_MONITOR_J2EE
Even after having all these roles I still get the same error. Please let us know if there is any role that we are missing on.

Venkat
