APO Scheduling Time Zone Issue- MAD Date and Delivery Dates are different

Business Requirement:

We are using SAP APO for our Availability Check. After performing a SAP APO Avail Check for a Sales Order in SAP ECC, we see that the Material Availability date is one day backwards from the proposed Delivery date. We donot have any pickpack or transit times maintained.

Business requirement is to see the Material Availability Date and Delivery Date on the same day.

Reason for Date Shift:

The reason for the difference between the material availability date (MBDAT) and the delivery date (LFDAT) is due to the different

time zones of the supplying plant (seattle, PST) and the customer who is located in summerville (EST time zone). The basic rule in sales is that the delivery time will always be displayed in the customer's time zone while the MBDAT is displayed using the time zone of the supplying plant. The difference in your case is exactly three hours which corresponds to the difference between PST and EST.

This is not a program error but standard behaviour.

Solution:

If we set 12:00 time against the Customer Delivery Date, then even after the time zone conversion, the dates(MAD date, Delivery Date) stay on the same day.

HELP NEEDED

There is a OSS note for CRM# 1423767 which sets the 12:00 time

I am looking for a OSS note for SCM which does the same thing.

Thanks
