BAdI HRECM00_GUIDELINE

Hello All.

I have a requirement to use the BAdi HRECM00_GUIDELINE to replace the standard configuration for increases. I have it working from info type 759, but when I try to do it through the portal, the BAdI doesn't get triggered when clicking the apply guidelines button. All help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Paul

set an external break point in method GET_INSTANCE of class CL_EXITHANDLER where EXIT_NAME is returned.

you will find all the BAdIs processed.

I am logged in as the same user on both the backend and the portal.

I get my breakpoints when coming into the screen on the portal, but when the 'apply guidelines' button is pushed, it does not get it. everything i have found says this is the right BAdI, but is there something that needs to be done so that it gets triggered by clicking the button?

    Hi,

From portal with which user id have you logged on?. The R/3 user id by which you are debugging & portal id should be same. Try to logon with same id. Hope it will work.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

please check is it the right badi you are searching for.... beacuse you are saying when you clicking apply guidelines button this badi not getting triggered.Put an external break point in badi method with the user id same as portal id you logged in and check is that badi getting triggered. If not, try to find out any user exit is there to serve the purpose.

This is the correct BAdI. The button does not trigger the BAdI but rather the data is stored in memory from when it was called when entering the screen. When the button is pressed, the stored data is applied.
