SAP Sales order release using V.26

Hello All,

I have a scenario where in currently I use tcode v.26 to release sales orders based on the object status defined in status profile. However I need to go to each order to the item level through this transaction to approve it or reject it. Hence there is no way for me to release many sales orders at a time keeping the functionality of status profile. Please suggest any options we could use for this purpose.
