Interest calculation indicator OL is not included in table T056

Happy new year SAP Experts

We are currently busy with an SAP upgrade from 4.7 to ECC6. Currently busy with unit tests. I am experiencing problem with the interest execution for debtors, transaction "FINT". When executing this transaction i am getting an error message that the interest indicator is not maintained in table T056.

We checked the table with the ABaper but the code "OL" is being maintained on the said table. Where are we going wrong?

Message:

Interest calculation indicator OL is not included in table T056

Message no. MSINT012

I tried to look on the forum, but to no avail, perhaps I am missing something.

Please help.

Theo

    Dear Theo,

Please be aware you cannot use a Interest indicator which is defined for

"Balance Interest Calculation" in FINT which is for

    Item Interest Calculation.

Please kindly check Your OL interest indicator configuration. If It is defined as "S" is balance configuration, so it is not valid

for transaction FINT (ITEM INTEREST CALCULATION), please check the

    documentation of the program RFINTITAR:

    Requirements

You have defined an interest indicator for the interest calculation type

P (item interest calculation) and made all other relevant

    specificationsRequirements

So, if you want to use a interest indicator type S you have to use

the transaction F.26. Check the documentation of the program

    RFDZIS00(F.26).

    I hope this helps.

    sm30 -t056-click on field maintenance dialogue - display - (ctl+f1 after f5)

and add indicator OL - also check the indicator type
