BP_BIADMIN for BI 7.0 on Portal 7.01

Hi Experts,

I want to Upgrade BI ADMIN COCKPIT Business Pkg in Portal 7.02 from BI-BW 3.5 to BI 7.0.

Already we have deployed BP_BIADMIN 60.1 SP5 on Portal 7.01 SP9 for BI ADMIN COCKIT, to access BI-BW System.

But I want to know which is latest BP_BIADMIN Pkg available for BI 7.0 to be deployed on Portal 7.02.

I Come to know from SDN that Software component BI_CONT has to be installed with 7.0.2 or 7.03 or 7.04

release on your SAP NetWeaver 2004s BI system . So, Whether same can be considered for Portal 7.01?

Answer to your first question is BPBIADMIN05P_4-10003428.SCA - Patch 4 for BP BI ADMINISTRATION 1.0 SP05

Second one - BI Content Extension is available only from SAP NW 7.0 EHP 2 onwards and in NW 7.3

So you mean to say , BI ADMIN COCKPIT is compatible as mention ::

BP BI ADMINISTRATION 1.0 ( Portal 7.0, 7.01 <-> BI 7.0 )

BP BW ADMINISTRATION 3.0 ( Portal 7.02, 7.3 <-> BI 7.3 )

And in my case I shud go with first one..rite?

BP BW ADMINISTRATION 3.0 is available only from NW 7.3 .. so you need to go with the other one.

Hi Mahesh,

I had gone with this SAP Note 934848 and in this Point.No.7 is mention for Activate Business Package 'BI Administration 1.0'.

But apart from downloading Business Package 'BI Administration 1.0' from Service Mkt Place, nothing much is mentioned regarding configuration into portal for BI ADMIN COCKPIT.
