Two separate release strategies were created for PR: By Cost Center and By Internal Order
For Account Assignment K, Release strategy of cost center is active.
The PR has both fields Cost Center and Internal Order.
On entering the cost center and valuation, the release strategy is trigged.
But if you enter Internal Order (which is just for statistical report), the release strategy dissappears.
My question, how to retain the release strategy based on cost center even after the internal order is entered??

If your release strategy is at header level(without classification), then chamge it to item level(with classification). Then the relevant release stratiges will trigger as required.

Hi Abdullah,
Use CL30N and enter the values from your PR here and see how many release strategies are determined. If there is more than one or none selected, then you need to check your customizing.
See Point 2 in the note 365604:
"You can use transaction CL30 search for an object using the data of the purchase requisition/purchase order. Here, it is important that the object search determines exactly one strategy. If this is not the case, this indicates that there are overlapping
strategies in the system or that the release strategies in Customizing do not correspond with those from transaction CL24.
If the object search returns more than one result, the system subsequently determines an incorrect release strategy or no release strategy at all."

Purnima.

Check you release strategy class configuration. May be in the internal order related characteristic, it is maintained as equal to blank, so when you add an internal order, this criteria is not fulfulled and hence release strategy is getting deactivated. If this is the not the case, then you may do simple coding through user-exit to achieve the functionality.
