Hello,

Kindly, I Installed The ERP6 ENH4 AIO Demo Version On VM Running From My Laptop Using SUSE Linux 10.3 and Maxdb, the installation is stuck on the last step which is Check The DDIC Password, I Know the right password but the installer give an error u201CDDIC in client 000 is locked due to many failed login u201C

The server name is DEMO and the V-Host Name Is AIOHOST, system no =00, and SYSID=DMO

So, how can I do the following:

1-Connect to the Maxdb , which user, and how to use the sqlcli as oracle sql?

2-How to Unlock the DDIC user ?

3-When I try to connect with SAP*/Right Password the GUI give me an error (user or password wrong)? So how can I connect from the GUI to reset the DDIC user?

4-I can not close the installer since itu2019s started by YAST and if it fails the YAST installer will start from the beginning.

Thank You And,

Best Regards.

Hi,

Perhaps, you can login with user SAP* and password 06071992 and unlock DDIC via SU01. Also set the password to what you gave during your SAPInst. This is the easiest method.

1-Connect to the Maxdb , which user, and how to use the sqlcli as oracle sql?

Use SQLCLI command line as mentioned in below thread:

Before that make sure profile parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar is set to 0.

2-How to Unlock the DDIC user ?

Once SAP* is unlocked, then login to SAPGui and reset DDIC password via SU01.

3-When I try to connect with SAP*/Right Password the GUI give me an error (user or password wrong)? So how can I connect from the GUI to reset the DDIC user?

I guess the password you are providing for SAP* is the one you entered during SAPInst. This password would not have taken effect yet, as the installation is not yet complete. Perhaps the default SAP* password 06071992 would still be active. Try that else set the SAP* password to pass as per the thread link given above.

4-I can not close the installer since itu2019s started by YAST and if it fails the YAST installer will start from the beginning.

Even if you restart the SAPInst installer, it gives you an option to either Run a new Installation or Continue an Old installation. Be careful to choose the latter option.
