Process Chains

Hello all

I have some doubts regarding process chains.

We can setup a messaging system from the context menu of the processes available, but can anyone please tell me if there is a process for which we cannot setup the messaging when the process fail.

In the plan view mode when we are builind process chains, what does a RED link signify?
