WAS 6.40 and EP 6.0 integration with 4.6C

Hi,

I am new to netweaver and have installed one WAS 6.40 with EP 6.0 and want to use as backend system the R/3 4.6C

What do i need to do to integrate the WAS with the R/3?

The main goal is to implement ESS in the portal.
