Problem while creating SALES ORDER (OR)

Hi All,

I am unable to create sales order (OR)

Error : Material is not defined for sales areaI have created MMR and CMR Properly.

Please help.

hi,

I think you have not extended the material to the sales area in which you are creating sales order.

Go to MM01 and extend the sales area to the one in which you are trying to create.

Then it will work fine.

Hi All,

Thanks a lot,I have solved my problem

There was error in material language itself

I mean ,when you go to ADITIONAL DATA section in MMR

you can find language option ,it was wrongly selected as Spanish instead of english and once i rectified the language selction ,the order was saved.

Hi Abhi,

I face similar issue as faced by you.

I went to additional data and changed the description and added the description in which I wanted it to be added but does not help. Am I missing the right place where to make the change?

I am pretty sure that it is a language issue.

I created a sales order, added a product, it worked fine.

Now, I copied this product to a new product, changed description and added it in same sales order it does not work.

check the customer communication language is one of the languages in the material additional data.

Dear Abhi,

Go to transaction MM01,select the sales views of the material Master or Organisational levels from the botom and put the sales area and Save the material Master.

please check your material sale area, and check basic data 1 view in division field i think material devision and sale order devision will deferent so pl check your sale order division and material devision ,

check in ovaz t code ,for sale area and document type , vov8 chek devision is item division are header devision,

Is your material extended to the sales area which you are using while creating the sales order?
