Work item not in sost

*Hi,*

*Its a WF on employee claim approval . Here when claim is created the work flow is getting triggered and workitem is sent to the approver as maintained . But some how its not showing in the SOST. Afterwards when the claim is approved or rejected a notification mail is sent to the employee. This time its showing the notification mail in the SOST. Please help.*

In order to send external mail as soon as dialog workitem is created you need to use extended notification or run rswuml2 to send external emails.

It will send emails for work item which are in read state task number is task of work item which is sent check in your workflow design

Make sure the user has email ids maintained

Only emails will be showed in SoST and not workitem . Can you tell us while sending workitem, are you sending any email notification?

Hello,

You need to set up Extended Notifications (don't use RSWUWFML2, it's obsolete) if you want users to receive emails telling them that they have new workitems in their inbox. Search for it on this forum.

The mails you are receiving already (e.g. on rejection) are being sent straight from the workflow itself.
